Dr. Edward Vincent Abratowski, MD

Dr. Abratowski's attitude was disturbing regarding my elderly mother. Dismissive, brief and pushy. A colleague was complaining about the doctor for her elderly mother and when she told me it was him, I was shocked: "That is the doctor I told you to avoid!" I get the feeling that he has no compassion for the elderly.

I was recommended to Dr. Abratowski for several medical issues, over the course of about 10 visits over two years and was very impressed with his concern for my health and wellness. He took the time to ask very specifically about symptoms, discuss options and was very honest about treatments, chance of success, recovery time, etc. This part was of particular importance to me because other doctors seem to tend to sugarcoat it or not answer the question specifically. Dr. Abratowski is very straightforward on issues but also maintains a concerned demeanor - he followed up with me several times via phone, went out of his way to recommend me to a specialist (and called the specialist to let them know I was coming), and helped me with refilling prescriptions when I was travelling/did not know where to fill them or corresponding medication names in foreign countries. I havent had the need to go back which is great, but I have called him with questions and he has always been very prompt to… return calls and offer suggestions even when I'm no longer a "regular" patient.

Terrible bedside manner and forces his values and unsolicited opinions rudely on his patients. Disrespectful to the nursing staff.

Dr Abratwoski has been my sister's doctor for 9 weeks now and I can't rate him as high as he deserves. He has been very caring and has gone above and beyond making her feel comfortable with her illness and treatment. You know when you see doctors on tv and they are amazingly good with the patients, and you wish you could find one like this in real life, well look no further, Dr. Abratowski is the best.thanks for taking such great care of my sister at one of the hardest times in her life.

Dr. Abratowski is knowledgeable, kind and caring. He diagnosed and helped me through a difficult illness and always took the time to answer my questions. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a first rate doctor.
