Edward J. Bahng, MD

I have only had one visit with Dr. Bahng so far, but from my first visit with him, he seemed very thorough and helpful. He spent a good deal of time talking to me and he didn't dismiss my concerns. A great doctor needs to have a mix of both book smarts and people smarts - Dr. Bahng seems like he has both. In my experience you find this important mix of skills in maybe ~50% of doctors. I would recommend Dr. Bahng if you are looking for a new PCP.

Dr. Bahng was through, methodical and he answered all my questioned. He could have send me to at least 3 different specialties but instead he ordered bunch of test, which is a lot more convenient for me. I think he will look at the results and then proceed accordingly instead of sending me over to bunch of potentially dead ends. He didn't speculate on things he wasn't sure about and he was honest about it. First he listened then ask questions about my concerns then went on to the physical, he was considerate and gentle. After the Physical he went over the plan, my interaction was more like a conversation where he really listened. I think he is very good at what he does.I forgot a form that needed to be filled by a doctor, he told me I could send it online. One thing, not necessarily a negative, He didn't smile not even once but didn't seem agitated or rushed, maybe he had a raugh day or he is not happy, I don't know. We all have ups and downs. Overall very good experience.
