Dr. Edward Leonardo Barias Rojas, MD

I went to see Dr. Barias for a Spravato treatment. Due to my inability to get my BP down to 110/70, he refused to treat me. I was a bit anxious because it was a new dr's office, so naturally my PB was a little elevated. After loud dance music was accidentally played through the room's bluetooth TV for at least 5mins before staff could shut it off, my BP jumped up and I was not able to calm down to a perfect BP reading. They still charged my insurance for video consultation and I, on disability income only, now owe $146. I have successfully received this treatment for a year prior (office had closed-COVID) with zero issues and have found a new provider with a quiet setting and comfortable chair to be sitting for 2hrs, as required by law, and allowance for a slightly elevated BP. Felt like it was a setup because he repeatedly pushed for TMS, even after I explained I was uncomfortable with it because I tried a similar treatment of shock therapy that left me and worse off.
