Everyone from reception on was super nice. My nurse Lori was easy to talk to and very professional. My doctor, Ed Bartels, was kindness itself and a great doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bartels for 25 years. He's always been kind, courteous and a very nice man. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Bartels is excellent! He returns phone calls, answers questions, takes time to reassure you and has a wonderful bedside manner. I have seen him for both my pregnancies and will continue to do so. Would reccomend him to anyone.

He was a very compassionate dr ,he took his time to get to make you feel at ease seeing that this was my first visit ,his mannerism was excellent with me ,he was gentle with me and explained everything to me ,i highly recommend him to everyone

Docs great. Office awful got fired from my job bc they didn't send a dr note after 3 requests from me. Took 6 months to get an appt, gave my insurance info over the phone on the reminder call, drove an hour and half to the office to be told they no longer accept my insurance and once I change it, the next available appt is 8 months from then. Doctors in and out quick, if you have a question, don't hesitate.

I do agree with the previous reviewers that there are often long, long waits at this practice. I don't mind since I only go in once a year. Dr. Bartels is pretty good. I started out with another doctor when I was pregnant with my first child and ended up switching mid-pregnancy because the place I was going to only had daytime hours requiring me to take time off from work. Dr. Bartels is really quick and knows what he's doing- out of all of the people who examined me during my two pregnancies, he was the quickest and caused the least discomfort (without getting into details) and he puts your pregnant mind at ease without causing extra worry or stress (like some doctors I've seen.) I think he's personable and professional, so I don't mind the long wait.

When I got to his office, the nurse told me I wasn't scheduled and that "oops" they cancelled my appointment by a mistake. They said they would fit me in anyway and it would be a few minutes. An hour and 15 minutes of waiting I inquired when I would be called in. "next" she says. After they called 3 more people before me I walked out.
