Dr. Edward Michael Beadle, MD

I used to go to Dr. Beadle's clinic (Haugen, Fliehr, Meeker) in the 70s. Great clinic. I ended up w/Dr. Beadle after landing in the hospital with uterine pain (endometriosis). He did a hysterectomy. His after-care was fine. I stopped seeing him but returned a decade or so later. Sadly, I found a once-great doctor w/compassion had become hardened. His caring, sweet bedside nature was no longer. I understand how this field can burn doctors out and I fear that's what may have happened w/ Dr. Beadle. I think he is too quick to recommend surgery as an answer. In fact, if I had to do it over again, I'd find an integrative doctor that works with natural hormone therapy and try that route before a hysterectomy. As tempting as it is to want to be rid of pain, you can't undo the surgery once your uterus and ovaries are gone. Once that happens, it affects the hormones in a negative way and can can lead to cardiovascular problems among other things. The last time I saw Dr. Beadle, I knew it was… time to find another MD. He wasn't the same compassionate guy. Imho, he's old enough that he can retire. I'm sad to report this because he was once a terrific doc and guy. I think the years of hard work have affected him. It happens especially among OBGYN doctors.

Found Dr. Beadle to be arrogant and not concerned with what I had to say. Won't go back.

I have had period issues for years. I have seen several OBGYNs and always got a pat on the back and ‘periods are hard’. Dr. Beadle HEARD what I was saying, ordered an ultrasound on the spot and I had a diagnosis within 3 hours. I was relieved to know what was going on with my body and angry that the many other doctors I have seen basically ignored me. I went to him on a referral from a friend and would recommend him to anyone.

Was not thorough and had to seek care from another provider who accurately diagnosed and helped with symptoms.

Poor follow up care. Pushes HRT on patients.

Makes rude and inappropriate comments to patients. Sells surgery and his after care is a joke along with his pre op physicals. He's really icky and creepy with his comments. Beware

I had 4 Endometriosis surgeries with Dr Beadle, which included a hystectomy, three of the surgeries he burned the lesions, the surgeries were done in less than 30 minutes, which I later found out he left me with old disease everywhere, he didn't take the time to search the pelvis. I have gone on to have 6 more painful surgeries to repair his mistakes and after my hyster he said I was cured, I was still in intense pain. He left me in severe pain and denied I had adenomyosis, his tech found it on an MRI and I could hear him through the door saying 'That is rare, she doesn't have that condition'. I tested positive after the biopsy and he left me in excruciating pain with no compassion or care with long term pain. If you have Endometriosis please find another doctor. I have been diagnosed with 'frozen abdomen', all my internal organs are tied with adhesions, due to severe scar tissue. He claims to be an expert in Endometriosis, but he will take little time to find all the disease, doesn't… fully understand how to treat or recognize all stages of the disease and then will deny your pain and suffering.
