Dr. Edward David Boudreau JR., DO

Several years ago, I had excrutiating back pain for 3 days. Had not slept (only dozed) for those 3 days and i was exhausted when i came in to the emergency room at Clev clinic hospital for help. I was in so much pain i could not sit, i could only pace around. Boudreau comes walking in and immediately sits down in the chair, folds his arms across his chest and proceeds to tell me that he has seen men with kidney stones that werent crying as much as i was. (I am an elderly woman). He then felt it necessary to tell me, "Its patients like you that doctors dont want to treat."....WHAT?!!!! What is that supposed to mean?!!!....I have two witnesses to his verbal abuse! My husband and the nurse. He NEVER asked if i had an accident that could be causing my severe pain, NEVER examined me and NEVER ordered any tests or imaging. After he had finished humiliating me, he got up and walked out......ONE OF MY BIGGEST REGRETS IS THAT I NEVER REPORTED HIM TO CLEVELAND CLINIC. There seems to be… something wrong with this guy. I have honestly never had the misfortune of crossing paths with someone like him!.........Boudreau, you are a disgrace to your profession!! Its "doctors" like YOU that patients dont want in the room with them and compassionate medical professionals dont want to be associated with.

Worst I've encountered in 46 years of living. No beside manner, rude, very short, not polite in any way. Didn't take the time to figure out my actual problem in ER, sent me on my way still in pain, and did such a poor job of NOT diagnosing and/or misdiagnosing, with poor medical records and ER notes that insurance will denied covering the visit.

Had the worst experience I've ever had with a medical professional with this quack job. Not only was he rude and condescending, he was entirely incompetent. I was in for high blood pressure and had blood work done (26 year old female). He tells me my high blood pressure is of no concern and to completely and totally forget about those numbers and never look at them again (seriously? -- even after I previously told him I was having high BP for about 2 weeks). He then comes back an hour later to review my blood work, tells me he is concerned with my kidney function levels and that they are low for my age (does not mention how low or what normal levels are) and to follow up with my primary care physician. He doesn't mention a single word about high BP being a correlation to poor kidney function. Then goes on to say, kidney function levels change everyday and you are probably just dehydrated so I wouldn't worry about it (I actively drink water all day long). Fast forward to my follow up… appt with my primary care physician, I tell her the whole story and she is absolutely mortified from his comments and behaviors. She then goes on further to explain how my kidneys are functioning at the levels of a 60 year old and how my high BP is a correlation to that. Avoid this Dr at all costs, I am shocked he is still practicing.

The worst doctor I have ever encountered. Rude, ignorant and needs to brush up on his studies. As a medical student myself, he is exactly the doctor I aspire NOT TO BE. Do us a favor and retire, you are not helping anyone.

I go to Cleveland Clinic to avoid these type Docs, how did they get one there??

Below run of the mill doctor, underacheiver. Either cheated his way through med schools or did the very minimum to get certified. Cannot think out side the box and if basic tests show nothing this doctor is not able to help or figure things out. Far from the usual Cleveland Clinic material that set the medical centers apart. Expect this one to have his home VCR back in the day only flashing 12:00 unless someone else set it for him. Probably never established in one medical setting but had to move on from place to place for poor performance. Expect the usual laziness and poor studies and lack of ambition to go for the lowest of the low in doctoring recommendig the patient seek psychiatric help. Avoid this misplaced career person.
