Dr. Braun is the best doctor I have ever been treated by

Dr. Braun remembered us by face and name, even with 15 months between our first round of injections. His bedside manner is great, he makes you laugh and relax. He ordered a cervical AND lumbar MRI when no one in Joplin would, and they all kept trying to push antidepressants and claiming I had fibromyalgia when I really have congenital stenosis. Bottom line, if you want a caring and competent pain management doc, take the trip to KU Medical and see him.

I have been incredibly disappointed with Dr. Braun. He can't wait to get out of the room. At one appointment, he was opening the door while I was still asking questions. He cares little for your overall health, but thankfully he bills each 5-10 minute visit at about $400. Good luck with him.

Exceptional care , diagnosis, and bedside manner.

To say the least every visit with him is frustrating. I have never felt more passed off than by this Dr. He walks out of the room mid sentence. He doesn't listen or seem to care at all about the pain or how to fix it. He acts as though he just wants to get me out as fast as possible. He doesn't talk about options or treatment plans. He doesn't schedule a follow-up I have to ask about it. Just very distant and unresponsive to anything I ask or try to understand. I was sent here by my pain clinic to do something different because the injections weren't solving the problem after years. But all he has offered me is more of the same injections!

Dr Braun is a excellent doctor and does all he can to make your pain easier to deal with..

After visiting a multitude of doctors for two years after an auto accident, Dr. Braun really LISTENED to me and provided me with pain relief so I could actually walk not crawl up stairs and could turn my head with very little pain. He was patient with my needle phobia and always kind and took time to talk about what was going on and how the treatments would work. I would recommend him to anyone in acute or chronic pain...or as in my case acute chronic pain. His staff is fabulous and patient also.. a great team.
