Dr. Edward Terence Chory, MD

This is my Surgeon of choice. Two of my surgeries have been finessed by this guy. My latest was this week, and let me tell you about it: another Surgeon did a surgery on my gall bladder and when it was complete decided the entire gall bladder (as I remember it) should be removed. It was scheduled for the next morning. For some reason unknown to me, the surgery kept getting postponed. Finally, they came to to get me for my turn! It turned out that Dr. Chory had pulled the paper with my name on it, when he’d saw it, because he remembered that the previous surgery had mesh very close to where my gall bladder was, and he wanted to make sure everything was going to “Dr Chory’s all right!” I love this man!

Dr Chory came with high recommendation from family and friends. He was everything they said, takes time to discuss procedures with patients, thoroughly explained the procedure at initial visit and before surgery and easy to talk to. It's no surprise this Doctor receives five star rating. He has worked at earning it and deserves it. I was also impressed how he treats and interacts with his supporting staff, who he refered to as his boss's

Dr. Chory is infectious. He should give seminars to other drs, on how to communicate with patients" from starT to finish. Best dr. EVER!

Very good A plus

Dr Chory got called in to do an emergency appendectomy on me on a Friday evening. Very down to earth doc with great bedside manners and very knowledgeable. I had also worked at the same hospital at one point where I had the surgery and dealt with Dr Chory from time to time. Treats fellow employees with kindness and respect, which cannot be said for all docs!
