Dr. Edward Thomas Cullom, MD

My grandmother went there and we waited and waited. I remember, one office staff, Makiyla or Makayla, was extremely rude and seemed irritated. She seemed like she did not want to be there the entire time. When I would ask if we would be seen soon (after an hour and a half of waiting for our established appointment), she rolled her eyes and muttered something. Then when we finally did see him, he is kind, initially, but wasn’t direct about surgery or what we would need to fix this painful experience my grandmother is having. We scheduled another appointment, but the office clerk was still so rude and cold. I dread the next time we have to go

Finally left after 3 hours. The waiting room was full when I got there and even more when I left. Absolutely no respect for patient. The staff would just say it will be a few minutes. Three hours is more than just a few minutes.

This doctor is awful, I would never use him. My mother allowed him to operate on her and while she was still in the hospital, we were waiting on Dr. Collum to discharge her, he never showed up, he forgot that my mom was in the hospital!! The nurse at the hospital had to call him and let him know that she was still in the hospital. After getting home I called the doctor to tell him that my mom was in a lot of pain but he never bothered to even call me back!! I wish that my mom would have never gone to see him, we don't even know if the surgery was successful because she is still in a lot of pain!

I went to Dr Cullom for a spinal decompression of the T10, 11, and 12 … I could walk, but I used a cane when I drove long distance. I drove it for surgery and walked in on my own, I DID NOT Walk Out !!!! I was PARALYZED from the waste down as I still am .. I had another surgeon go in and decompress what Cullom missed 7 months later and found out that what Paralyzed me was a pinched nerve that Cullom had pinched during surgery, this nerve is in the Thoracic area and Won’t regenerate, so that means I’m Paralyzed for life because of Culloms mistake , and to make things worse, the Last time I went to him he acted like he had No concern at all !!!!!

SAme as other patients—-husband waited 3 hours for 3 minute consult. Total waste of time. Referred by VA

I had to wait over an hour and a half both times before I saw the doctor. I realize that he is busy, but, my time is limited too. Other than that, he was very thorough and explained everything that I needed to know.

Doesn’t care about finding the source of pain/discomfort, totally dismissive towards patient input/questions. I filed a formal complaint with triwest for the second time against this doctor.

he has decent bedside manner, stf nurse could use a smile. Try to get a straight answer from him or his staff impossible. They definitely made us feels as if mom' complaint was insignificant.

Waited for 4 1/2 hrs in a packed waiting room, Appt was for 130pm, saw at 524pm. They tried to schedule a shoulder mri that wasnt approved by my insurance. The insurance paper work said cervical. Smh.

This Doctor is one of the worst Doctor's I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. Terrible, horrible bedside manner. As soon as he walked into the room for my very first visit, I said hello, and started to introduce myself, and he interrupted me right away. He was severely rude the entire 10 minutes, and did not listen to anything I tried to tell him about my symptoms. I also asked him to treat a pre-existing condition, and he visually scoffed at me. It was as if he had a predetermined notion about me and my condition before even entering the room. From his own website "I want patients to know that they have my undivided attention. I want them to feel the compassion behind everything my staff and I do. I want them to know theyâ??re getting the same personal care, responsiveness and the dedication I would want for myself. And they can count on me to be personally involved from beginning to end. Because thatâ??s what quality care is all about.â?? Just take the above quote and… apply the opposite to it, and you'll have an accurate description of this doctor. The only plus side to this visit, was the extreme helpfulness and professionalism of his staff. If only the doc was any good. Go see someone, anyone else but this guy.
