My 91 yr old mother suffers horribly from rectal prolase. We went to see Dr. Delle Donne, for a consultation; and perhaps some ideas to keep her comfortable. Our intention was not to be consulted for surgery. It would not be prudent at this age. However, we never expected the shocking experience we encountered. Dr. Delle Donne was not very personable when first meeting us. He did not ask how my mom was feeling or what she wished to accomplish during this consultation. He basically told her to drop her pants and bend over. Because the prolapse was not visible at the time, he told her to try to make it come out. He said he could not operate without seeing the prolapse; and told us to get a picture of it. Again, I reminded him, we were not willing to have invasive surgery at this age. My mom was not fully dressed when he opened the door and told us to meet him in the next room. He offered no suggestions for pain relief (except for Prep H). We had hoped he would have… given us some words of comfort; maybe a few exercises, water bath ideas, etc., but he offered no such advice. Needless to say - the consultation was a complete waste of time - and left my mother and I feeling disrepected and humiliated.

He saved my life. He was there every step of the way. Without him I wouldn't be here today.

He has performed surgery on me and treated me during an emergency visit for a separate issue. Have read the arrogance comments and couldn’t disagree more. Guy is confident because he is very good. I didn’t need feel good therapy when I had my serious issues. I needed capability. And he knows his stuff.
