Dr. Edward DiCarlo received his medical doctorate from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and completed his residency training in pathology at the New York Hospital - Cornell University Medical College. He followed with a fellowship in Orthopedic Pathology at Hospital for Special Surgery. Since 1984, Dr. DiCarlo has been on staff at HSS, where he is currently the Director of the Histopathology Laboratory and Associate Pathologist. He is also a clinical Professor of Clinical Pathology at the Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. DiCarlo has lectured widely and has numerous publications, including book-chapters, on the diseases of the bones and joints. He is board certified in anatomic pathology.
