Dr. Edward Joseph Erbe, MD

Dr. Erbe is one of the best psychiatrists I have ever been to. I too cannot find him after FHCCSD abruptly dropped him during covid.

Has anyone seen Dr. Erbe in California. He was literally the best Dr. I had ever had . His military background was truly helpful with my diagnoses. I haven’t been able to find a doctor as good since he left FHCSD. He really and truly was a wonderful doctor.

I like Dr. Erbe. He listens and has compassion.

Dr. Erbe put me at ease immediatly. His low key easy going demeanor had me actually looking forward to seeing him again!

I have been a client of Dr Erby's for many, many years. I have always found him to be a caring, knowledgeable doctor. I would leave his office feeling much better than when I came in.

Dr. Irby should have his license revoked. I went for my scheduled appointment yesterday and was very rudely told “he’s not here, he packed up and moved to California. I replied shouldn’t I have been notified. She replied, we had a list. I said I’ve been a patient a year. This is not okay. She said it wasn’t her job. This is client abandonment & has caused a lot of triggers to occur. I can’t unders this unprofessional treatment. He asked to oversee all my medications & now I am left with no one to contact. for refills. He accepted my husband as a new patient 2 months ago for ADHD & now he is left with unanswered questions about the medication Dr. Irby prescribed. Dr. Irby should be rated less than 1 Star. I’m in shock. What else can I say.

2009 ignored my c/o pain and requests for labs re meds and he rfused for 9 visits. my relative took me an ER (what hospital IS he affilialed with) and I had lab work showing pancreatitis. He cold turkeyed me off 3 of 5 meds..then the game of med change. At peak of mania with several real life contributions, 18 months later I was in handcuffs in a hospital without him or casemanager. this time after suicidal late summer and fall of 15 and med change then manic in spring as usual I refused med changes and he stopped me Paxil Wellbutrin so I went in withdrawal and suicidal which cost me family ties. the Topamax I had been asking to stop due to lack of appetite and wt loss. (50 lbs since Nov.) and my complaints of spelling difficulties. finally were connected by NP Pharmacist and neurologist and stop Topamax CAT scan EEG EKG MRI . I left his mental health center and lost my part time job that helped me save $480some a month to pay for medicaid. He tried to get me to take Safris as a… sleeping med and I refused. I was on my way to see neurologist and was on life's edge. I wonder if he keeps up with modern treatment, medication side effects and dangers of prescribing anti psychotics
