Dr Ferguson went above a beyond to help me and keep me informed!! I was sent to him to have a mass in my lung looked at and removed!! He was very polite and help me understand everything step by step!! He know I was very nervous and he was very straight foward with me and about me! I would certainly recommend this Dr to anyone!!! Thanks for everything Dr!!

Waiting time depended on how busy Dr. Ferguson was or if he had an unexpected emergency. His assistant and his office staff took care of things until he arrived back at the office. We have had 4 wonderful years together because Charles' bypass surgery was so successful. Thanks.

My Aunt came to Dr. Ferguson for evaluation of lung mass. Second referral. He informed her she has lung cancer, surgery not an option, survial rate "not good". He told her that he could not do anything for her, but if she wants a biopsy call and schedule an appointment. Then walks out. What type of Doctor gives a person a terminal diagnosis, this being the very first time Lung Cancer has been mentioned to her, and walks out?? No education regarding the process of Lung Cancer, Stages of Lung Cancer, possible treatments which could include palliative care if nothing more. My Aunt leaves this visit feeling as if her breath has been knocked out of her. Not knowing what to do now and truly not believing what she has been told. Come back to reality Dr. Ferguson, remember not everyone is a healthcare professional, and everyone deserves the ability to make decisions regarding their health, it's called "Patient Rights", but how can they make rationale decisions if they have not been… educated on the disease process. Your name will be remembered in my family for a long time. My Aunt is the youngest daughter of 13 children. We will get her the informaiton she needs and we will surround her with all the love and care that she needs to get through this. Your lack of caring and empathy will be remembered.
