Dr. Edward James Ford, MD

Saw Dr Ford for a broken foot. He showed me the xrays answered all my questions. Very calm and concerned. My next Visit was due to 12 yrs of Knee pain again he took xrays, showed me the degenerated areas and advised surgery was needed for replacement. Took his time and answered all my questions. I've seen a few ortho surgeons this year for knee opinions and he is definitely the one doing my surgery at St. Marys. So happy he came out of retirement to help this practice. He is a major asset and super experienced. I trust him.

Dr. Ford repaired my Trimalleolar fracture 16 years ago and saved the quality of my life! Every subsequent Dr who has seen the X-rays of the repair has commented on what a great job he did. After my accident I thought I would have a limp forever. No way! I use the treadmill, run (only a little). I am so lucky that Dr. Ford was the Dr. available the day of my accident. (Good PT and hard work by patient also important, of course).

THIS MAN WAS WORKING AT ONE OF MY LOCAL URGENT CARES.. WENT IN WITH A BROKEN LEG HE ORDERED XRAYS ON ONLY MY KNEE SAID I HAD A SPRAINED KNEE 3 WEEKS LATER I FIND OUT MY LEG WAS BROKEN THE WHOLE TIME. HE HAD MISDIAGNOSED ME ALONG WITH ANOTHER MAN WHO HAD A FULL FRACTURED RIB CAGE AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE BRUISED.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SEEING THIS MAN HE IS UP TO NO GOOD.

Be prepared to be ambushed and asked to sign a contract waiving some of your legal rights BEFORE you are allowed to see Ford. If you don't sign, you don't see him. They don't tell you about the contract when you make an appointment, only on the day you come in to the office. So if you've waited weeks, taken a day off from work and are in pain, you sign the form or find another doctor. Unbelievable.
