Dr. Goldberg concentrates his practice at Rush University Medical Center on the treatment of spinal injuries and diseases of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons in 1992, Dr. Goldberg has fellowships in both lumbar spine surgery from Rush and cervical spine surgery from the University of Miami and University of Marseilles in France. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Phi Betta Kappa Society, Summa Cum Laude Society of Tulane University, and the North American Spine Society. Dr. Goldberg is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush.

Excellent surgeon who is caring, funny and takes his time with you. I put my trust on Dr. Goldberg 11 years ago when he performed back surgery. It is still one of the best decisions I have ever made. I Trust him completely!

I have now have had 3 surgeries with Dr Goldberg. I have recovered from them all. I totally trust his opinion/diagnosis. He is caring and is a good listener. His bedside manner is the best. His team is great, efficient, always answers all your questions and returns phone calls quickly. I can't say enough about Dr Goldberg and his team, they are top notch. I would recommend him highly to anyone requiring back surgery.

You simply cannot get better care than Dr. Goldberg and his staff. Never have to wait more than 2 minutes before I’m called back, Amazing surgical skills to Repair my neck and back, Always takes extra time to check on recovery, and is extremely professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg all the time to friends and family. Brian

Due to an event, I was forced to have both a neck and back fusion. After living with excruciating pain and very limited mobility for two years, I am on the road to recovery. I could not recommend Dr. Goldberg or his staff more highly. Very professional, talked through all options, showed me what was the problem and what his goal was, explained recovery and goals and was always extremely thorough. I never felt rushed in any appointment even when my Q&A went long. I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg.

I have a history of spinal stenosis and had Dr. Goldberg do surgery on levels 3-4-5. He did an awesome job and though I am retired I have a much better quality of life thanks to him and his wonderful gift.
