Dr. Edward Robert Greenblatt, PhD

My ex-husband, who was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, took my seven-year-old son away from his then-current therapist without my knowledge or consent. Dr. Greenblatt consented and initiated treatment with my son without ever consulting me, the Mother, believing my ex-husband's crazy lies that I was nowhere to be found and was unreachable. We clearly had joint custody and joint decision making at the time - thankfully not anymore. He did not engage in the most rudimentary background work to find my contact information, such as referring to the address on our divorce agreement or simply contacting my lawyer, who is also indicated on the divorce papers. For someone who is working with children in high conflict divorces, this was a gross oversight and act of negligence. It is incredible to me that a professed professional could not see through my mentally ill husband's manipulation, and subjected a young child to brainwashing and participated in his parental alienation.… Thankfully my son is now doing very well, has a restraining order against his unstable and violent father, and has a new therapist who helped him overcome this awful trauma. I would stay away from Dr. Greenblatt's services.

Dr Greenblatt provided exactly the support and treatment my daughter needed after she suffered a terrible profound trauma. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Extremely knowledgable and gentle, he is specialized in treating young children.
