Seen him in 2011 he had me walk back and forth in front of him and said can’t do anything for me and left room he was very rude would not recommend him to anyone

I had two back surgeries in 2014 with dr hames resulting in too much bone being removed from my lower spine. This has resulted in additional surgeries, to include spinal fusion, to stabilize my lower back. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Super outcome with my back surgery also saw my daughter for same thing . I don't have any pain or worry's any more . thanks Dr. Hames

Dr. Hames is an outstanding surgeon. His colleagues both refer patients to him and go to him themselves. When I asked three different nurses who work on the neurosurgical units at two different hospital to tell me who they considered the best they put Dr. Hames at the top of the list.Not only is he an excellent surgeon, he is a kind and compassionate and supportive physician.

Would not listen to me - glanced at my images and said " I have no idea why you're in pain" and left the room. Very rude, and did not answer one question after 6 months of intense back pain -amazed he can operate like this...

not a big talker but he knows his stuff very good at what he does seen a different surgeon that would have done something different and left me fused for life
