Dr. Edward David Himot, MD

Doctor Himot in my opinion is a great doctor. Accurately diagnosed my problem. Made me feel comfortable and at ease. will continue to see him when I need help, and will refer friends.............

I've seen many doctors in my day and he is one of the worst. Has the most horrible bedside manner, arrives to your appointments late and when he arrives he doesn't spend an adequate amount of time with you. He's arrogant...doesn't listen to you as he constantly notated my medical record incorrectly. He doesn't appear to care about his patients. He arranged for me to have surgery twice without even obtaining my medical file from my rheumatologist and never said a word about it. He's horrible!

Dr. Himot is an awful doctor. My mother went to Dr. Himot with pneumonia and bronchitis symptoms and he takes a few listens and says "it's just anxiety and "a touch of bronchitis" Dr. Himot does NOT give any meds other than xanax for anxiety to my mother. grabbed his papers and walks out. two weeks later my mother is in the hospital with double pneumonia, a racing heart (rapid heartbeat) and blood clots in her legs. I would never recommend this "doctor" to anyone. He should be ashamed of himself for treating patients like this. My family all used Dr. Himot until now... find someone else because Dr. Himot is worthless. as a physician. I have nothing at all nice to say about this individual. My mother is near death because of this man. He never once checked to see about my mom while she was in hospital. I hope he sees this review. His patients deserve better. LOOK ELSEWHERE

Very cold...spends maybe 3 minutes with me after a long wait in waiting room and patient room. has nothing to say...can't get an appointment if co-pay isn't paid. didn't rec' a bill so when going to next appt. must pay a co-pay from before , not knowing a co-pay from before was due becausea bill hadn't been sent. Every 3 months there is a new rule. While waiting in waiting room, patients are asked for money due in front of everybody. ONe lady on medicad was highly embarrassed. Oh, been going to this Dr. for 26 years and now I hate it.

Dr Himot is very thorough. I have been going to him for many years and he is a great doctor.
