Dr. Edward Denmead Huey, MD

My husband is an alzheimer's patient under care with Dr Huey's care for over 4 years. He monitors my husband's treatment very carefully and discusses possible studies he might qualify for. Always kind, courteous and professional during our appointments.

Dr Huey told me that he would speak with my husband's other doctors. But and then Dr Huey neglected to call back the other Doctor Who called FOUR times. Dear is extremely poor at Explaining condition/giving prognosis.stay away!

Terrible diagnostician. Terrible bedside manner. Horrible doctor. Literally the worst doctor I've ever encountered. Avoid him at all costs. Should not see patients or teach students. Should have his license and certifications revoked. I'd give no stars if possible.

Awful doctor. Should not be allowed to see patients.

Find another doctor. Terrible with patients. Not even worthy of having lab rats as patients.

I went to this doctor because I dont have a great memory. I don't know what I was expecting, but he gave me the most basic, grossest battery of tests for alzheimers. Basic things like, can you remember 3 words, can you blink your eyes. (I am 45 years old). Then when I could do all these very basic tasks. He said I was fine. And bid me ado. I could have told him I did not have alzheiners. Doctors must be able to help more than this!Then, to top this off, his office mis-processed my insurance as an out-of-network, even though they are in-network for me and even charged me an in-network co-pay, and when I called them to point out the error, they followed up by sending my case to a collection law office! Hours of my leg work later, the law firm is dropping the case because the doctor's office was in error.
