Great Dr. alot of expertise in surgery.

I had hip surgery with him 5 years ago. Over the past 2 years I've been dealing with Avascular Necrosis from his surgery. I finally had to have a second surgery by a better trained surgeon to fix his mistake and was told by 2 other doctors that his FAIS surgery was a terrible idea and there were other options. He's too full of himself in a small town without a lot of surgical options.

Very patient with me. Spent time to go over procedure. I would recommend him to anyone. I have a torn meniscus but after 3 injections, I did not need surgery. He is not rush to do surgery. Also, heard he is a great Pastor at his church. Great job- University of South Carolina and to his parents.

Dr. Edward Jackson,II is the best orthopedic surgeon I have been to in my life. I learned he graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and was in the top THIRD position in his Class. Thus, he joined Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. If live in Atlanta and need Orthopedic care- He is the Best. Kudos to USC- School of Medicine and Bayor Orthopedic Residency Program.

I had just transfered to area so I didn't have a local Dr who could refer me to an ortho surgeon for hip labrum tear. I called Toc and brought my records and mri report, they were able to schedule me in shortly after. He also recommened surgery and pointed out I had a Fai pincer. His assistant Kelly set up my surgery. After my apt I viewed Dr Jackson reviews on here and was a little concerned by the few negative reviews. I told myself he has probably performed this surgery hundreds of time, so I realized you can't please some. I decided to put my faith in him still. I am so glad I did. Dr. Jackson did a great job on my surgery and after care . I am pain free , from a hip pain that I've sufferred with for so long. I was told it would be 12 months of PT before completely normal. I felt 70% better within 1.5 months. I was able to stop taking the pain meds the month after surgery. I did have a hard time with the meds making me nauseated, I was able to call and he adjusted to … one that didn't, shortly after I was able to manage without. I am guilty at stopping PT after 4 months, If I had taken a turn for worse I could blame myself. He did his part I should have done mine. I ve been doing pt on my own. I feel 99% better and almost full range of motion and started running 3 miles 3x a week this month, 6 months post op. Just glad I went with my own instincts.

Awful Doctor if I had it to do over again I would never have gone to him. I am worse after surgery then before. Do not go to him.

Dr.jackson is the best orthopedic surgeon in north Florida
