It was 13 years ago that our family Dr. sent my husband to Dr. Jacob as a result he went in the hospital for a bladder exam which he ended up removing a cancer mass. Which safe his life, On a check up he also did a chest xray which showed a dark spot on his lung . Dr Jacob set my husband in 2 days with Dt. Muril at Kettering Hospital who ended up saving his life and is still living ( No longer smokes) at one point in time Dr. Jacob went to Lima, Ohio and we drove there for our appointments. As he now my Dr. We know in our hearts that could never find a better Dr.

I had gone to Dr. Jacobs for a bladder exam as a second opinion. I had been seeing Dr. Yu who wanted to put be in the hospital to do a biopsy near my urethra which concerned me because on the past exams I had with Dr. Yu my urethra bled for quite some time after the exam. I went to have a bladder exam and the first thing I find out is he doesn't do in office bladder exams and wants me to be admitted to the hospital and to be sedated. Over the years I have had 4 other doctors and all of them did in office bladder exams. two of them are now retied and one was transferred. Dr. Jacobs wanted to do a biopsy without even giving me an exam. He evidently communicated with Dr. Yu which to me does not seem ethical. I spent 4 hours in office that morning I suppose as punishment for questioning one of his colleagues,Dr. Yu. Now I have to get a referral for another doctor and wait probably three months

Dr. Jacobs is an OUTSTANDING Physician! He is more than that... he is a kind, caring HUMAN BEING! Cares about ALL! He was my Dr. in Lima..... I MISS HIM SO MUCH! Dr. Jacobs went ABOVE and BEYOND any Dr. I've ever had. ALL should be so lucky! For those who have the ability to see him, his SKILLS are far BEYOND textbook! He knows exactly what he's doing and makes ALL feel extremely comfortable!
