Dr. Kuo diagnosed my pneumonia from high fever and back pain

I've been a patient of Dr. Kuo's since before he opened his own clinic on Washington Avenue (he was with a large clinic in Kingwood) - more than 12 years. When I first went in to see him, my blood pressure was dangerously high. He worked with me, discovering the right combination of medications to keep it under control, which it has been for over 12 years now. What impressed me most when I first started seeing him was the amount of time he took with me. Having been to many doctors in that clinic, I was used to 3 minutes and they're out. When he left that clinic, a friend of mine who worked there let me know where he had gone and now my husband and I both make the drive from Atascocita because he has always provided such a high level of care. Dr. Kuo has always taken time to talk with me about what is going on, and often bringing out issues that I had never realized might be relevant. His staff has always been great, they always call within a couple of days with bloodwork… results and I've never had a problem getting a prompt appointment.

He just does trial and error. It is acceptable that he does not know much about some diseases but at least he has to say "I do not know about that" and refer to an specialist.
