Dr. Edward Andrew Legarreta, MD

Dr. Edward Legarreta specializes in ophthalmology, bringing more than five decades of experience to eye care. He earned his medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo and completed his residency at Kaleida Health System. Throughout his extensive career spanning 52 years, Dr. Legarreta has developed expertise in comprehensive eye care and treatment. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse patient population.

Dr. Legarreta practices at multiple Legarreta Eye Center locations throughout Western New York, including Lockport, Buffalo, Cheektowaga, and Williamsville. His clinical focus includes treating glaucoma and open-angle glaucoma, as well as managing dry eye syndrome. He performs comprehensive dilated eye exams and vision tests to help patients maintain optimal eye health.
