Dr. Edward Manougian

I have been his patient for over 7 years but before being refeered to Dr. Manougian I suffered with severe pain. He got my pain under control and I'm so thankful to him.

When you deal with chronic pain you start off in a whole. Having been to numerous pain docs, I found over and over again, long waits (have an appt for 2, they see you at 3), they don't really remember you but look at your chart and ask questions same as last time, question them -- they get sour. Dr. Manougian will take the time to explain the conditions, will try diff't treatments, and will follow up with you. I wish more were like him.

before i met the doc i was not able to work.i was in an accident involving fire and had burned 23% of my body.the doc worked with me very closely to come up with a way to keep my pain managable.th e results were amazing and i was starting to have a life again.every month that i went to see the doc he adjusted my treatment and now for the last 7 months ,i have been ablt to work in my regular trade !!!! Now what have these idiots done??? how can they seriously think that edward manougian, a man who pretty much by himself, has made the biggest impact on defeating pain.how or what could he have possibly done to be closed down,without warning, without any reguard or compasion to the doc or his patients.if anybody knows where the docs patients are going for treatments....i would be interested in going myself....being i am a former manougian patient

This doctor should be put out of business. He only sees drug addicts who what narcotics to get high and sell on the street. He is a joke. Why doesn't the DEA put him out of business.

I MYSELF HAVE BEEN A PATIENT FOR OVER 4 YRS. AND MY AUNT A PATIENT FOR OVER 5 YRS AND I AM APPUALED AT THE COMMENTS LEFT BELOW ABOUT THIS PREGNANT WOMEN HOW COULD THIS PERSON ONE PUT THIS WOMAN'S NAME OUT THERE LIKE THAT AND TWO THE WOMANS PERSONAL BUSINESS,I HOPE THE WOMAN SEES THIS AND THE PERSON WHO COMMENTED BELOW GETS SUED FOR NAMING THIS PERSON PUBLICLY WHICH I BELIEVE THIS PERSON HAD NO RIGHT TO DO.ANYHOW ONTO MY PERSONAL BELIEF DR.M. IS AN ANGEL ON EARTH MY AUNT HAS BEEN IN CHRONIC PAIN FOR OVER 30 YRS. AND MYSELF FOR OVER 15 YRS.THIS DR. HELPED GIVE US OUR LIVES BACK BEFORE SEEING HIM NEITHER OF US WERE BARELY ABLE TO DO EVEN DISHES LET ALONE BE ABLE TO WALK A BLOCK AND THAT HAS ALL CHANGED. HE IS VERY THOROUGH AS FAR AS MEDICAL HISTORY AND ORDERING CURRENT TESTS THAT NEED TO BE DONE TO DIAGNOS ISSUES IE: X-RAYS,MRI'S,ETC. HE ALSO DOES LAB TEST NOT ONLY TO KEEP AND EYE ON OUR LIVER,KIDNEYS.ETC. BUT ALSO TO TEST TO MAKE SURE HIS PATIENTS ARE ACTUALLY TAKING THEIR MEDICATIONS SO… I AM PERSONALLY OFFENDED THAT THE PERSON COMMENTED THAT ALL HIS PATIENTS SELL THEIR MEDICATIONS THAT IS A HUGE ACCUSATION AND PEOPLE WHO ARE TRULY IN CHRONIC PAIN WOULD NEVER EVEN CONSIDER DOING SO. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS PERSON WALK A DAY IN MY LIFE-(PAIN) AND THEN MAYBE THIS PERSON WOULD UNDERSTAND WHAT HAVING A GREAT DR. FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT TRULY MEANS. BY ALL MEANS I DO NOT THINK IT'S RIGHT FOR A PREGNANT PERSON TO TAKE ANY NARCOTICS BUT I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT THIS DR. WOULD EVER GIVE THEM TO A PREGNANT PERSON ESPECIALLY NOT KNOWINGLY AND AS FAR AS THE INVESTIGATION IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS ALLEGED PREGNANT PERSON YOU WOULD KNOW THAT IF YOU DID A BIT OF RESEARCH BEFORE COMMENTING ON SOMETHING YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT.I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS DR. TO ANYONE WHO SUFFERS CHRONIC PAIN AND WANTS A DR. THAT TRULY CARES ABOUT AND NOT ONLY UNDERSTANDS CHRONIC PAIN BUT HAS WRITTEN SEVERAL PUBLISHED ARTICLES ABOUT CHRONIC PAIN!!

I have been a patient with Dr.M for over 2 years. He and his staff are exceptional people. I have no complaints what so ever. The staff has always made room for me to come in on a last minute appt. I have been able to get refills faxed over to my pharmacy if I could not make the appointment. Dr. M is old school, he doesn't put up with to much crap, if he asks you a question he wants a straight yes or no answer. He is great and he is here to make it possible for all pain sufferers to have a normal life. I do not beleive for one second that this man would knowingly give a woman oxycontin if he thought it was not safe or if he thought for one minute she was selling her pills. I do not know the procedure on pregnancy and Oxycotin, but obviously there is some underlying issues that the author of the previous rating didn't know about this woman and her specific case. The Doctor has been practicing for so long, I highly doubt that he would put his credibility or his life's work in jeopardy… for one patient.

I CAME TO SEE DR MANOUGIAN IN SO MUCH PAIN YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE.I HAD BEEN UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING AT HOME, GO ANYWHERE.I SPENT MY DAYS IN BED RUNNING MY KIDS AROUND TO DO ALL THEY COULD.NOW I TAKE CARE OF MY OWN BUSINESS,GO OUT SHOPPING,ATTEND CHURCH WITHOUT THEIR HELP.

Dr. Manougian has been trying to get me off the pain management pills and has been trying to cut down my medication and do more physical exercise, but the pain has been so severe that he and I decided that pain medicine was the most productive path but to also continue with physical therapy. And to those who misjudge and doesn't know the aspect of pain we should be thankful to have an understanding and knowledgeable doctor such as a doctor who has 54 years of practicing medicine and over 10 years of pain management. And I dont beleive that he would ever give a pregnant woman oxycontin. Trust me he is a great doctor. After pain medicine is prescribed it is out of any doctors hands. They have in advanced have been informed and had to sign a document saying they and only they can use their medicine so thats my opinion!
