SIMPLE-He saved my life

Dr. Melian was referred to me from my oncologist Dr. Scott Smith also of Loyola. Both are terrific doctors and work with great teams. Due to my cancer progressing to the brain, dr melian was brought on and we will finish last radiation treatment tomorrow . Working well and cancer isn’t showing up. He listens very well takes time with you even though many always want to see him and really cares about addressing other issues stemming from treatment. His treatments in all aspects are working and good. Can’t recommend him high enough .

Thank you Dr. Melian from 2 crazy Italian girls. thank you for making us laugh, thank you for hugging us when we cried. You were a very important person in my sisters care. Your expertise and personal attention were beyond just medical treatment. We felt that you cared about us! You will always be remembered.

Great skill (my surgeon was "amazed," (his words) at how well Dr. Melian's radiation worked on my tumor.Also has a very nice and gentle sense of humor--he puts you at your ease immediately. That's a real talent, when dealing with a frightened cancer patient!I'd recommend him to anyone.

if you need radiation and you don't choose doctor melian, you're making a mistake.

He has specific expertise, and comes highly recommended, but the procedure will not happen for another week or two, so we'll see. But this is the kind of person EVERY doctor should be.
