Summary
Dr. Moody was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, and grew up in Morristown. His undergraduate training was obtained at Auburn University, and he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1983. He then completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia in 1985.
He has been certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Tennessee Dental Association, and has served both as President of the Lakeway Dental Society in 1989 and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry in 2003. Dr. Moody is active in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the preeminent organization of children’s oral health professionals, and has served on numerous councils and committees and on its Board of Trustees from 2004 – 2007.
Dr. Moody is married and has three daughters.
