Dr. Edward T Oleary, MD

Prior to one visit on Dec. 9, 2025 I was generally satisfied with Dr. O'Leary's medical services, but this one visit was astoundingly bad. As part of driver's license for elderly (I'm 91) the state requests a medical review form be filled out by such as a family physician. I made the visit and only after I returned from that visit I learned through my young granddaughter who had accompanied me, that Dr. Oleary plans to refuse to submit the requested form. I was not told, and only have an explanation from my granddaughter that the Dr. was hesitant to submit his observations or lack thereof of possible drug problems of his patient. I have no such problem and there's never been any issue of any sort related to drugs other than, possibly a follow up question about a medicine prescribed by Dr. Oleary. Since he chose to not question me about that part of the comments requested on the state form let alone inform me of his intention to not meet my request for the State requirement severely… displeases me. I am trying to contact him by phone now to have the problem corrected. If some explanation is presented (I can't imagine this) that explains this astounding refusal, I will absolutely make sure to update this complaint.

Disgruntled Office Staff. Terrible office energy. Unsympathetic care. Find another physician.

He either writes an Rx or refers me to a specialist - even for little, simple things. I don't even bother with him most of the time. I have to find someone new. Like other reviewers, I find the staff to be uncommunicative, uncaring and smug. A great practice has deteriorated quite a bit.

Very Caring, listens to what I say I am feeling

Extremely pleased with Dr. O'Leary's care of y meical condition. He and his staff are always timely in taking care of my needs.

He has been my doctor for 20 years. Always does a great job and cares about his patients.

Horrible staff, caring more about their adjenda rather than needs of paitents DONT SEE OLEARY

Dr. O'Leary of Scottsdale, was given all information with complete notes on first visit. Not only did he not listen to me as I went through the list, but he forgot most everything I told him. Why, because he was too interested in what he was wearing for 'casual Friday'. He wanted me to come back in for another office visit just to go over all I had already gone over with him on my first visit, to get a non-narcotic prescription, just so he could bill again. He is inadequate in every way.

Dr. O'leary is too timid. He doesn't ask you any questions regarding your visit. He doesn't spend hardly any time with his patients. He literally is in the room for about 4-6 minutes. Not confident.

Dr. O'Leary is very intelligent, efficient, and effective. He will never waste your time if he cannot assist you. By the way, he knows right away, even before your appointment if he can assist or not. He doesn't keep you waiting and is very conscience of your time and personal situation. He is a no nonsense kind of a doctor. I highly recommend him. :)
