He was very good working with my son he was very informative and took his time to explain all the the procedures and also listened to our sons needs. Wonderful doctor his bed side manner is the best I have ever seen in the upstate. If I could give 1000 stars I would. Thank you so much Dr. Penn. A true sight of what a real doctor is!

I wanted to write this review for Dr. Penn to encourage any family, especially those with children who have special needs, to seek him out. Dr. Penn was patient, courteous and more than willing to be flexible when treating my son. In our case, my son is in a power wheelchair, and, due to his condition, has a full spinal fusion. Instead of insisting that we transfer him to the treatment chair, like some doctors have done in the past, Dr. Penn helped to rearrange the furniture (including the heavy treatment chair, which was in the way!) in order that we could situate my son's wheelchair perfectly. Dr. Penn did this willingly and with a kind and understanding attitude. As a result of the re-configuration, my son was able to remain stable and comfortable throughout the exam and treatment. Dr. Penn's care for my son's troublesome ear problems was flawless; he was attentive to my concerns, answered my questions completely and was continually asking after my son's comfort level during… the procedure. We had waited a long time to see him, and it was absolutely worth the wait. As we left, I remember feeling that Dr. Penn seemed very much to consider himself a partner in caring for my son. I wish all doctors were more like him!
