Waited for over two years to finally get my son in, only to be cancelled.

I was rushed into having surgery on my cataracts ..and ever since i have had nothing but vision problems.. The Dr who did my eye exam told me i was going to loose my driving ability if i didn't have this surgery really soon..I have had nothing but vision problems after he did my surgery.. Please look for someone interested in your vision. Never get PUSHED INTO HAVING THE CATARACT Surgery..

Dr. Peterson clearly knows his stuff and loves kids. Best care around.

Dr. Peterson great; Dr. Pravil and some of staff are not trained to handle special needs patients. When to patient cannot "do" as they directed, you might think one would ask their caretaker for tips /assistance. They would try to do tests, etc. numerous times before they ask/got help from another employee. There was a disconnect with patients that had surgery downtown verses those downstairs. We waited over 40 minutes both times when patient just got off operating table....make the appointment later. Good grief...this practice does not value the time of its patients.

Dr. Peterson is ok however his staff his outlandishly rude, inconsiderate, and insulting! His "office manager" basically made me feel like I should eat crap with a smile because they were the only ones that would see my child within a 200 mile radius. The office staff thinks they can treat anyone how the want without giving it a second thought. Now Im in a position to where I don't know if I can trust him with my child because of what the staff said. DO NOT GO HERE! If you do you will surly be back here to complain just like I am now.

My child has been a patient of Dr Peterson for 4 years. I know when I come to my son's appointment we will be there for awhile, but the wait is worth it. I want my child to see the best doctor in his field in the Chattanooga area. I feel like if I walk in to a doctor office and the waiting room is full then I know this doctor is in high demand and must be really good.

1st visit.After signing in, the receptionist immediately asked us to pay an outrageous amount, claiming it was our co-pay. Thank goodness I had called my insurance prior to the visit, so I had a rough idea how much we would be responsible for our baby 1st visit. After going back and forth with the ladies at the desk (Keep in mind I haven't seen the Dr. yet). I finally called my insurance and the insurance specialist explained my benefits to them.Later the front desk explained that they get their information from a website. Really??? If you are going to charge people before you even bill the insurance the list you could do is make sure they owe the amount you are asking for.This left me wondering what if we didnt have insurance or we had limited resources? This was a very bad first impression but I choose to overlook the incident and hope for the bestSubsequent visitThe Dr. walked in, after a long wait each time and clearly you could tell he had not read our babys chart before coming… into the room. We had to keep correcting everything he said about our previous visit. This made me very uncomfortable and uneasy.Unfortunately I understand they are the only pediatric eye specialists in town. At this point I don't mind going out of town to find better care. I am truly disappointed with their services and professionalism. I hope they improve on their customer service and their money collection practices.
