Dr. Edward Philip Piken, MD

Dr. Piken was my doctor for over 25 years. It’s been nearly a decade since I last saw him- I’ve retired and moved away from Southern California, but I often think about how fortunate I was to be in his care. I never have had, before or since, a more caring and capable heath care provider in my life. He, quite literally, saved my colon, and the main reason that I’m still alive and functioning today. I deeply regret never having told him how much I appreciated him. I was tempted to do so many times, and hope that this review, in some small way, makes up for my failure to do so. Doctor Piken is a great man and an extraordinary physician.

I have been a patient for over eight years. I can't imagine going to any other facility. Bonnie, Dr. Piken's assistant has been "OVER THE TOP" when it comes to my care. She always makes sure that I understand my condition and treatment. Vickie too has been someone that I have reached out to and has also given me the attention that we all think we deserve as a patient.

The endoscopy center is a very well run facility. I have nothing but praise for all the staff I came in contact. They were very nice and caring. One of the best new improvements is the discharge papers. They are very readable and nicely done. I really do not have any complaints or any other improvements to offer.
