Dr. Edward D. Rhim, MD

I visited him 3 times - for palpitations and irregular heart beat, PVCs, BP low / high - had to request testing and was told it was fine - anxiety related - come back in a year. If I thought it would help I could half BP med or increase mitral valve med - I wanted advice from him, not dismissal. I know at my age when I am not fine. I felt I was not taken seriously.

I had put my trust in Dr. Rhim. After nearly passing out at his office with high blood pressure and then dealing with the emergency room, I felt tearful... I returned to Dr. Rhim office for follow up visit to be told, everything looks fine, see u in a year... All my family has heart problems and I informed Dr. Rhim. Not feeling better, I got second opinion from Centenial group to find 2 major blockages. After surgery, I feel much better... Be Careful which DOCTOR u choose.. Your life depends on it....

I visited this doctor only once for an irregular heartbeat and will never return. I was treated as if I was a woman with hysteria. Arrogant and rude.

I’ve seen Doctor Rhim twice for on going chronic issues. Last visit he was flippant with me when I tried to explain how my life was incredibly adversely impacted by how I was feeling. His suggestion was to eat more salt, an order I was given by my pcp a year earlier. I told him I had already been doing this and he acted like he didn’t hear me. I’ve fainted multiple times, have palpitations, low bp and high heart rate on standing, can’t exercise anymore, can’t tolerate heat, can’t walk for more than a few minutes, and am struggling to work. He actually suggested I eat chicken noodle soup and see him again in 6 weeks. I feel disrespected, not taken seriously, and gaslighted when he referred to me as a young healthy girl multiple times. Never coming back to him again.

My husband has a massive heart attack 3.5 years ago. Dr. Rhim was very caring, informative with the entire family. He's easy to talk to and cares for the WHOLE person.

A well-informed, attentive, patient-friendly caring doctor in the true sense of the word - a caregiver. He listens and explains and sees the patient as a person rather than merely as a "condition" or "symptom" to be treated!
