Dr. Romond and staff are wonderful and treat me like a person not a number

SCARED ME INTO DOING ACTH FOR TREATMENT FOR EARLY STAGE HER2 BREAST CANCER AND EMPHASIZED, "YOU NEED ADRIAMYCYN". INSTEAD OF LETTING ME CHOOSE TCH WITHOUT BEING SCARED. HE IS ALWAYS IN A HURRY. THE SIDE EFFECTS OF ACTH WERE HORRIBLE. HIS NURSE JESSIE IS A NIGHTMARE IF YOU HAVE SIDE EFFECTS. SHE ACTUALLY YELLED AT ME ON THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED CRYING BECAUSE I HAD A HORRIBLE RASH AND OTHER SIDE EFFECTS FROM TREATMENT. HE TREATS PATIENTS WITH PROPHYLACTIC ANTIBIOTICS WHICH CAUSES MORE PROBLEMS WHEN YOU ARE GOING THRU CHEMO. I WAITED SEVERAL HOURS FOR CHEMO TREATMENTS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR OR HIS NIGHTMARE NURSE.

Dr. Romond was rushed because of another patient and because of this he failed to accurately diagnose an infection which caused an inpatient hospital stay of 4 days via an ambulance because I was septic. I would not recommend this doctor as I have since heard other misdiagnoses by him, most particularly a woman who had her primary care not questioned his diagnosis would have died. Kindness and bedside manner are nice traits for a doctor, but the end result is a physician who does not make mistakes and possible loss of someone's life.

One of the kindest, compassionate men I have ever met. He diagnosed my husband's leukemia in 2001 and although it was the worst day of my life Dr. Romond was kind and caring to both of us. He made sure to call us on a Friday afternoon to give us test results instead of us having to wait through a long weekend. I will never forget him and I am thankful to have had my husband be in his care. Truly a wonderful man and physician.

Dr Ed Romond is an excellent physician. he makes you feel as though you are his only patient and he hears what you say and , seemingly, senses any apprehension you may feel. Quiet and sensitive and thorough.
