Dr. Edward Steven Rosenthal, MD

Initially I liked seeing Dr. Rosenthal; my Daughter knew him and recommended me. Now he seems like he does not listen to me; I bring up and issue and he just shrugs it off or ignores it. There are also very long wait times in both the waiting rooms and the patient rooms; it is ridiculous. He is seeing too many patients, and needs to stop adding new patients or stop scheduling 4-5 patients for one time slot!! His receptionist is rude probably because she is the only one, and is too busy to be nice! My feet and ankles have been severely swollen for years, and he has done basically nothing except put me on a water pill to reduce the swelling. it has not worked. My Daughter has scheduled me with a vascular doctor to look into this further; shouldn't have he thought of this??? Very likely to change Doctors!!!

Very rude receptionist. One of the main reasons I will not be back. Saw her being just as rude to elderly patients. Dr. Rosenthall crossed the line with some of his questioning. Did not listen to me and did not do anything to help my asthma related symptoms. Will be transferring to a new doctor. Other doctors that I have spoken to have heard the same thing about him. Vey sad

Dr. Rosenthal listens to and discusses problems or situations you present to him which is why he normally runs a little late for appointments and he follows up with both phone calls and appointments.He is a family man who takes time to vacation with his family at least three times a year therefore, you may not be able to get an appointment "exactly" when you want it but the wait is worth it for he is a good natured and caring doctor.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Rosenthal for 15 years. He is very good at his practice and very compassionate. He will listen to what you have to say which I believe is the most important trait for a doctor. If he don't know the answers he will find it or send you to someone who can help. On one occasion many years ago I got ill and he was out of town on vacation. (Which I must say is very rare...I have seen him late at night at the hospital and wee hours of the morning checking on his hospitalized patients...he must never sleep.) It was a must to see a doctor so I made an appointment with another network doctor in my plan. I was horrified by the treatment and bedside manner of this other doctor. Not to mention the blood on the cabinets, the filthy floor, and the 2 hour wait. I felt like I was in a third world country. I will gladly stay with Dr. Rosenthal. I recommend him to all. After all I recommended my mother and thanks too him she was around a long long time. Thank you… Dr. Rosenthal!

I've been going to Dr. Rosenthal for years. I always feel rushed, always need see to a specialist, and always have to use the hospital's expensive and time-consuming lab. It wasn't always like this, but now I find myself looking for another doctor.
