Dr. Edward Andrew Ruiz, MD

I am new to the practice and this was my first appointment. I met with the nurse first weeks prior to my physical appointment with the doctor. She took my vitals, went through my medical history and sent me to get labs drawn so that all the results would be available for the doctor the day of my appointment. I really liked this because it means I'll get right down to business with the doctor on the day of my appointment. The nurse I met with was great! She was Very pleasant and I felt very comfortable with her. Thank you!

10 years with Dr. Ruiz office , had no problems over the years highly recommend.

He is a Dr. of compassion when he is with you and very knowledgable. The Dr. could improve on patients waiting time, 30 to 45 sometimes. I also wish he would spend more time with the patient. Sometimes I feel he is rushed, which means I am rushed.

He is a very personable doctor, knowledgeable, my only real complaint is the 2-3 months to get an appointment. Im one that waits to see the doctor because i don't like to complain about pain. and when its reaches that point 2-3 month wait to see him is a bit much. but that is more front of the office issue then the actual care i suppose. almost like the receptionist don't care. makes this great doctor look bad.

Very prompt, thorough and Dr. Edward Ruiz always takes time to answer my questions which is rare now days! He always makes sure that his patients have the best care and everything is fast paced which is good, not long wait times.

If you want to be treated like a dog or even worse this pompous Doctor is what you need If you want real medical care thou pick someone else After a 2 hour wait I was told I have to make another appointment two months later because he needed to get my records get blood work etc I stated I have oil in my eye from a retina reattachment surgery and it needs to be removed very soon He replied You don't understand how a referral works and that he needed all of the above before he could even start on it What can a GP in La Quinta tell me/ discover that wasn't already done at UCLA He said you have a bad attitude and to get out of his office Run don't just walk away from this Doctor Takes two days or so before they answer the phone to make a appointment the appointments take two months then you get treated like a dog at best Read all the reviews on this guy and his wife and you decide if you need the headache

I love Doctor Ruiz. He listens to me. He's great at explaining things and he is never in a rush. I find the office to be very well origanized and the staff friendly. I'm so grateful for his excellent caring attitude.

Excellent! The most efficiently ran office I have seen, and friendly! Awesome on time, and felt Dr. Ruiz heard our issues, really listened and respected our time. Loved how detailed they were and just amazed at the efficiency! This office should be a model for others to follow.
