Dr. Edward Sammons received his Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from Indiana University in 1991, majoring in Psychology. He was a member of 4 Big Ten Track & Field Big Ten Championship teams, setting a school record. In 1995 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. He then spent the next 2 years completing a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Riley Hospital for Children. From 1997 to 1999 he completed his orthodontic training at Indiana University School of Dentistry as chief resident. He graduated in 1999 with a Masters of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.) with his thesis centering around cleft lip and cleft palate. Dr. Sammons is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He is currently board-certified as a pediatric dentist from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has served as president of the Indiana University …Orthodontic Alumni Association. He is a current board member of the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and Ivy Tech Dental Assisting Program.  In his free time he enjoys coaching soccer, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family.
