Dr. Edward Alan Sherwin, MD

Dr Sherwin is caring as in any office there have been times you wait for return call from physician but he has always shown compassion and concern for his patients. The Scranton Endoscopy Center runs efficiently was in and out, ample parking. Woman who checked me in was very polite, nursing staff was informative.

The staff were rude, arrogant & lazy, had a negative attitude, and a lack of care and compassion. My wife and I have spoken to Dr. Sherwin about his staff's inadequate response to requests or complaints several times, but nothing has or will be changed. I am picking up my medical records and putting Scranton Endoscopy Center behind me, in the mean time my condition ( which is a simple procedure ) is deteriorating. On another note, his medical assistants should dress like professionals, instead of waitresses from Hooters.

I was having pains in stomach he did a dialation for no reason! 2 years later I am suffering acid comes up to my throat he destroyed the valves that held down my acid . Ruined my life !!!

Disorganized office, sloppy attention to appointment times. A patient is told to arrive 15 minutes early, yet is often seen over an hour late.

Dr sherwin is a butcher I went in for a simple endoscopy and now it's 3 days later still can't swallow without intense pain in throat n chest he won't even return my calls I was fine before procedure

I went to several different doctors trying to find out what was wrong with me. These other doctors ordered multiple tests and procedures but I wasn't any better. Dr. Sherwin made an accurate diagnosis and I feel like a different person! He was so caring and down to earth. I felt like I was truly a person to him not just a diagnosis. I would highly recommend Dr.Sherwin to anyone with any kind of digestive problem. I love this doctor!
