First Doctor to actually listen to what my wife was saying about her Fibromyalgia pain. Explains everything in ways you understand. Has a very thoughtful process for addressing pain management. His staff is awesome and they have very strong covid protocols, which we very much appreciate. Would recommend this practice to anyone with the need for pain management treatment.

Dr, Shin was my first encounter with an Interventional Pain Specialist. My chiropractor referred me for some pain that manifested in my elbow area and bicep. I am a tennis player and the pain was interfering with my play. The MRI showed I have some disc damaged. The treatment plan Dr Shin discussed with me in detail was reasonable. I understood my nerve pain much better. At my post injection visit, we discussed my migraines, my inability to sleep as well as the benefits of intermittent fasting. He explained all of those concepts in depth. I walked out understanding several health issues that have become a part of my 50+ year old body. Thank you Dr. Shin and Allison for keeping me healthy .

I always feel rushed when seeing doctors but on my first consult with him, even though he had waiting room full of patients, he still spent an hour with me, listening , explaining & discussing my pain issues and treatments plans. I really appreciated him for not making me feel like I’m taking up too much of his time. And he seems knowledgeable about other fields of medicine and thus it seemed important to offer me comprehensive solution. And, I appreciated his concerns about opiates and though their short term benefits to treat pain was great, his views on their long-term harms seemed to weigh heavily on his mind. So he encourages you to combine alternative pain treatments, healthy lifestyle, exercise, healthy eating habits along with medications for long term solution. He even gave me nutritional tips! It felt like knew more about healthy diet & eating habits and food choices than my own nutritionist & personal chef to guide me on my road to pain free life. I’ve been seeing him… about 2 years and my overall chronic pain is under control and i got rid of lots of medications that I used to rely on to “survive” daily painful life. I highly recommend him & his staff is also very friendly and professional.

Dr Shin has been my pain specialist for 8 or so years. He help me stave off a new knee with 3 years of knee injections and assistance with back pain using back injections. I have been able to continue my career goals because of Dr Shin’s care and will be forever greatful. Thanks to Dr Shin and his great staff. 5??

I am extremely impressed by the experience I had with Dr. Shin. I cannot think of a doctor that I would give a better review of. He was recommended to me by my spine surgeon and I am grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor. Five stars is not enough!
