Hands down the best ENT doctor I’ve ever come across! I suffered from horrible sinusitis and nasal polyps causing me to loose my sense of smell, he performed surgery on me and In less than a week I was able to smell and taste . Thank you so much Doctor you are truly the best!!

Dr. Shin is an excellent physician who always takes the time to listen to his patients. He addresses their concerns with his knowledge, expertise and sensitivity...a perfect blend of an expert in his field coupled with a wonderful bedside manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Shin.

It's hard for me to recognize the Dr. Shin that I experienced with the two negative reviews. He was polite, knowledgeable and an effective communicator. He referred me to specialists who were excellent. Sometimes the referral process can be drawn out, but Dr. Shin and his office did everything they could to move things along in a timely fashion.

This doctor walked into the exam room and immediately said he couldn't help me - without even examining my issue. Made me feel like a stupid woman hypochondriac or else like someone who was looking for strong drugs - NEITHER TRUE! I had been to several doctors prior to Dr. Shin who could not figure out my issue and with the reputation of Manhattan Eye and Ear thought I might receive an answer/solution and relief of my pain. Basically said you look fine and dismissed me. I plan to write to Mount Sinai about this doctor. A horrible experience and a waste of my time.

So inaccurately, diagnosed my complaint that no Dr that I saw afterward could even use the MRI that he ordered. This is specialist and my symptoms were so obvious that the Drs who I found both on long island and then at Sloane Kettering were frankly surprised that he never even brought up the subject of cancer to me. He just suggested a 6 week follow-up. In any event by that time it was too late. Save your money save your life, find a professional who knows what they're doing.else ware

He explained the situation that I had and did not rush the check up. He asks if you any questions and will generally answer your questions more in depth when prompted. Overall a very friendly and patient doctor. I would definitely recommend.
