Dr. Edward Dubois Smith, MD

Dr. Smith is caring, patient and listens with earnest. He knows his patients as individuals it numbers. Highly recommend!

I saw Dr. Smith for several years during which he seemed great. My last year with him he prescribed me muscle relaxers and opiates because I hurt my neck and was in a lot of pain. Walmart didn't send me my FMLA paperwork packet until a week after I saw Dr. Smith. Well Dr. Smith said he didn't even say I needed to miss any work so he refused to fill out my FMLA paperwork. I'm not sure what reality Dr. Smith lives in but most jobs will not allow you to work there while you are taking muscle relaxers and opiates. Also it can be difficult to remember to ask if you should miss any work, or any other important questions, while you're on the muscle relaxers and opiates you got from the emergency room visit as well as all the pain you are in. I laid on my couch (since it was the only place I could get into a less-painful position) for over 2 weeks. Then Walmart wouldn't let me go back to work until I had the FMLA paperwork signed which Dr. Smith refused to do. Finally Dr. Smith relented and… wrote a note saying he did not say I needed to miss any work because of my injury. Fortunately because of my work ethic I was able to keep my job. But I still have nerve pain in my neck and arm and it took several months before I could pick anything heavy up with my left arm.

My son was coughing and had trouble breathing. Was diagnosed with krups at 11am and prescribed steroids. It’s 3:25pm and still no prescription. Apparently did not close the file and for the last four hours “is with the patient”, which I suspect means “gone for the weekend” or “left and doesn’t answer his phone”. I’ll never again see Mr. Edward Smith.

The best Dr in Pullman in my opinion. Dr Smith really cares for his patients. When he was treating me for a chronic disease made himself available 24/7 directly for me and followed up throughout the years even when I was no longer under his care. Thank you for everything Dr Smith!

Dr. Smith is the best doctor in the Pullman area. You can tell he really cares about his patients and goes above and beyond what any other doctors I have seen in helping his patients.

My family and I are former patients of Dr Smiths from New Mexico. We received care ffrom him for six years he is by far the best physician I have ever had.
