With age comes experience and when no other would address my concerns, Dr. Smolar did! It turned out that I had thyroid cancer and because of him, I am 100% cancer free!!! Bye bye thyroid!

Prior to the recent change to an automated system I got good, quick responses to questions, needs and concerns. Since this new system went into place it is impossible to get a real live human being. I've called repeatedly on several days and always get directed to a voice mail to leave a message. I've left 3 messages and still no one has called me back. It is critical that I speak with someone about having the wrong insulin called in and not having the correct insulin syringes to use with the medication that was called in since 6 days ago. I guess I have to drive to the office to get this taken care of.

After waiting over 2 hours to see Dr. Smolar I was very disappointed. This Dr. Should not practice medicine any longer to put it mildly his mind is just not what it should be. He cannot retain the most basic information, and this is very dangerous when it comes to prescribing medications. Not only is it very frustrating repeating the same information several times it's a cause for concern because he is playing with our lives. His scribe seems to be very unhappy complaining about personal problems, and seems to be very passive aggressive towards the doctor. Not only do you wait a long time to be seen you also are with the doctor for what seems to me an excessive amount of time do to the fact that the physicians assistants are constantly coming in and out of the room asking the doctor questions, and trust me it's hard enough to try and keep him focused. Then the office manager keeps coming in the room hovering saying are you doing we have another patient for " workers comp" like hello… did I not wait my 2 hours patiently now between all the distractions and confusion my blood pressure is sky rocketing. The doctor literally checked it 7 times my arm felt like it was going to fall off. So that's my experience with this office and doctor to say the least it was confusing, frustrating, and frankly a waste of my time.

Incredibly busy but that's a good sign

Wait time of AT LEAST 2 HOURS EVERY TIME. these "NICE" people should be working at the DMV not a DR office. WORST DR OFFICE EVER. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS AT ALL

he gets confused at times

I was very diasppointed. First they kept me waiting about 40 minutes to verify my insurance. My appointment was made with enough time for them to do this during the week before I got there. You only see the doctor for a quick minute. You speind most of the time with the PA. They refuse to fax me my blood work. They say Hippa does't allow it. Well they are wrong as I once checked with hippa and found out that we can have it faxed to us. They want me to make an appointment each time I have blood work. With my $5000 deductible I pay $160 for a visit. Most doctors fax the blood work and one of the staff calls with info the doctor gives about it. This office has caused me nothing but stress. I am due a copy of my results and still don't have it.
