Dr. Edward D Stoner, MD

This review is in response to two repetitive 1 star reviews dated Aug. 11th and Oct. 3, 2018. I have known Dr. Stoner for over 20 years and there are not enough stars on this rating chart for a doctor of his caliber. I just saw this review for the first time last night. I was so appalled I had to set the record straight. The person who wrote those reviews has a history of making egregious false accusations of many people who she comes into contact with. She chose to take on the position as her elderly mother's caretaker after her mother incurred a serious injury. She allowed her mother to waste away to 57 lbs. That is when she finally decided to seek medical attention for her mother. By the time she sought medical advice from Dr. Stoner, there was little he could do for her neglected condition. She waited until her mother's condition was too far gone for any viable medical intervention. How shameful of this person to cast blame on Dr. Stoner. What a vindictive thing to do to a… doctor who is known for his compassion and sound medical advice. I know many people who are patients of Dr. Stoner. They are all in concurrence, that as a medical professional, he is one of the most caring, dedicated and enjoyable doctors to put out his plaque to practice medicine in NJ.

This doctor is so incompetent, he did nothing to help my elderly mother. He did not check her blood pressure, 02 levels, and did not refer her to any specialists. He used the excuse that she was "old" and she died shortly after an office visit with him. After he let her "waste away" to 57 pounds with no diagnosis as to why, he refused to speak to me without an attorney. My mother was eating and love life and he did not even order an scans to see if she had a disease. He continued to insist on just giving her vitamin b12 shots and Ensure. He never ordered any cancer screenings and never suggested any feeding tubes. My advice is to stay away from this doctor, because all he did for my poor mother was to rip off Medicare. This man was so cold that he did not even care that he sent her home critically ill and she died shortly afterwards.

This doctor is did absolutelly nothing for my poor mother. He claims she was "too old" to treat & did not bother to do any scans to see why my mother could not gain any weight. He did not do a chest x-ray, he did not do an EKG, he did not refer her to a Specialist, he did not test her blood pressure because he did not have a cuff for her thin arms, he did not test her oxygen levels, & ordered only basic blood work. He never tested to see if my mother has a disease, such as cancer, that was causing her weight loss. He gave her vitamin b12 shots when her levels were already high & rushed her out the door. This man is rude & refused to explain to me why he sent her home when she was critically ill. My mother died within 48 hours of seeing Dr. Stoner & he has nothing to say for himself. My mother would have received better care from a vet than Dr. Edward Stoner!

Saw dc stoner for the first time this week I am a extremely anxious patient Dr. Stoner was very personable and knowledgeable and answered all my questions and made me extremely comfortable I have been sick for six weeks two days on Dr. stoners treatment I am already feeling better God bless this man he will be my forever dr

Despite the wait, he's worth every minute of waiting. He takes the time to proper diagnose and offers many treatment options.His bedside manner is great- he offers a sympathetic ear and he cares.
