Dr. Edward Tavel is a terrible doctors. He bases your pain and hurt off his other patients rather than giving an exam to see what yo are experiencing. He is terrible!

Fantastic results due to injection in my back due to sciatic nerve. Back, left hip & tingling down left leg. Walk at least 3 miles per day, sometimes 6. Dr Tavel is very kind & compassionate. At his suggestion walking is the best exercise for me.

I was being treated by a local Orthopedic office which insisted the pain in my shoulder was coming from my neck. I was given constant neck injections and strong pain medications. After a year of these injections and medications, I ask my primary for a referral. I feel very blessed that Dr Smith made my referral to Dr. Tavel. He sat with me, listened to what I had already been through. He ask questions and allowed me to answer. Which gave me the feeling he was listening. After one year of constant shoulder pain, alot of neck injections and strong pain medication , Dr. Tavel addressed the cause of the problem and treated it immediately. It took 2 injections, not in my NECK, and I walked out of his office pain free. I would highly recommend Dr. Tavel to all. Also, he surrounds himself by a wonderful staff.

Dr. Tavel is rude and arrogant. You can't even tell him what is wrong without him interrupting and condescending you. He has no care to properly treat a condition if you are a workers compensation case. He literally said you are being dramatic after being told the amount of pain being experienced. I wouldn't let him handle a goldfish let alone my care and treatment.

He's pleasant and nice as long as you don't question or disagree with him.

When i go in there i have always seen the PA Dana Purcell...shes very nice but seems to rush through my appointments. The only tine ive seen an MD is before injections in my back. I wish they would take me seriously when i rate my pain, i feel like they look at ne as a med seeker, which im not...i just want relief and thats whats kind of working at the moment.

I have been very satisfied with the services provided Pain Specialists and Dr. Tavel They are extremely professional and courteous . I am well satisfied with the results I have have thru their treatments!!!1

Dr. Tavel may be a very good doctor...I wouldn't know since I only see him for 2 minutes prior to a procedure. The PAs and NPs do ALL of the follow up appointments. I feel very rushed when I go in for an appointment and sometimes, the PA seems to just brush off my concerns about my continuing pain. They are quick with the prescriptions but don't take the time to really listen. I have been going to this practice for almost two years but am seriously considering going to someone else. A doctor who will actually spend time with a patient rather than be wholly concerned with making the almighty dollar!
