Dr. Edward Allan White

Apt at 1245 had to wait on the floor they wouldn't let us in but other offices nearby had patients entering

I've suffered with gastro/ibs issues for years. During this time, I've had to see many specialists but have received little help until Dr. White. Dr. White offers a sensible approach and doesn't automatically jump to drugs as an answer. He's open to lifestyle changes and more practical approaches to treatment which is very important to me. His staff at the endoscopy center is amazing. They are always kind and on-time which is also important to me. Julie, his nurse practitioner is always wonderful. She's prompt, kind, and very caring. The office staff however, is a little dysfunctional. They are nice, but seem to struggle with organization and getting messages thru to the appropriate people. It's worth the dysfunction to see Dr. White. After over 20 years of issues, he is by far the best gastro doctor I have seen.

I was referred to Dr. White by my GP originally for a Colonoscopy (which he did about 9 month ago and went fine) and recently for some difficulty in swallowing. Both times he has been very responsive to questions, his nurse practitioner was great and there was minimal waiting time. The most important aspect is the procedure went very very well and so far I am not having any difficulty swallowing after he dilated the distal part of my esophagus with a 54FR Maloney dilator, what ever that is. He came in after I was awake and explained everything to us and provided a two page report with color pictures that show the different areas he worked on. I experienced minimal pain or discomfort and was fine that afternoon.

Listens! Takes action and helps fix the problem. Very attentive. Would recommend.
