Dr. Edwin R. Cadet, MD

I've had 3 visits with Dr. Cadet over the last 2.5 months. He is highly professional, friendly, and always takes the time to answer my questions, to provide recommendations, and in general, just listen if needed. There was one very long wait out of the 3 appointments I had, but I appreciate that Dr. Cadet takes the time needed with me (I never felt rushed), so likely he was needing more time with other patients on that particular day, and unknowns and emergencies do come up...I won't fault a doctor for that. The front desk staff (check-in) go through the motions for a prompt check-in, but haven't been particularly friendly. Once past check-in, the staff has been great; communicative throughout the visit and friendly.

Dr. Cadet was thorough, his diagnosis provided a variety of options to either resolve or ways of managing my pain. Also honest about sharing referrals to specialist of the issue i was experiencing. He came highly recommended from my primary care physician

Dr. Cadet did such a beautiful job replacing my shoulder joint. His persistent care for my recovery was exceptional. He takes time to make sure all your questions are answered. I will always use and suggest him for shoulder replacement.

I found Dr. Cadet to be highly professional and all about my care. He had questions, he allowed me to ask questions. He was prompt, professional, and pithy. All of which I appreciate. And in the end we… Not he nor I alone, chose what was the best path going forward

I saw Dr. Cadet for a second opinion. He answered all my questions throughly, did a minimal assessment, and provided feedback on MRI results I had gotten previously. Although for some reason the office was unable to obtain the actually images from Duke. I find that, in this day and age of advanced technology, incomprehensible. I found Dr. Cadet to be somewhat dismissive and we did not really have much of a connection which was disappointing. My case was definitely not a challenge for him. Overall the visit was OK.

I am pleased with the outcome. Got an injection in my shoulder that provided immediate relief. But I was a little disappointed in his bedside manner. Felt he did not look me in the eyes and that he didn’t listen carefully to my concerns. But then he is very experienced and probably sees these same issues every day. The appointment was very efficient. In and out in 30 minutes including X-rays and an injection. I will return.

The greatest all around doctor would refer my friends and family to him anytime thanks Dr Cadet.

Long wait and unfriendly

Dr.Cadet is a very Good doctor. His bed side manner is very calming. He explained the procedure so I could understand how it would take place. He used the x-ray to demonstrate what type of condition my shoulder was in and how bad it was because the arthritis had destroyed most of the bone structure. This is why I was in pain night and day. Once he inserted the cortisone shot it was like i could raise my arm to elbow height, then all of a sutton, I was able to raise my arm like my left arm. This was an exhilarating experience. Now, I have my arm back like new for a senior. Thank you so very much Dr. Cadet I really appreciate your work. Thank you.
