Dr. Edwin Leano Capulong, MD

If you plan to see this this doctor for pain management..save your time. He is more interested in giving injections that most people with chronic pain only last a week only to keep you coming back to drain your pockets or I insurance companies. I took a file into his office as thick as a phone book along with 3 MRI and Ct Scan dics which clearly showed he has major problems. He has also see a Neuro. surgeon at Riverside who informed him that if he would operate on him he would probably die on the table. I would say that is pretty serious coming from a top Neurosurgeon. He has had injections, epidurals and 3 back surgeries. Dr. Capuling hangs the sign out there as a Pain Management Doctor but he is NOT ONE. Take a wild guess why he only has 3 stars on his reviews. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone.

After being referred to Dr. Capulong and having a month wait to see him I received no help whatsoever from him and was sent to yet another doctor. Furthermore the office staff was quite rude. Will never go here again under any circumstance.

Just plain ..blah ....

I find it hard to believe some of these negative comments on Dr. Capulong. I have followed him from an initial office with CC in Broadview Hts, to Westlake to UH in Fairlawn and Twinsburg. He has always been patient, informative, and very effective in keeping me from another cervical operation. He has been both known and highly rated by both my primary physician as well as an orthopedic specialist. My only complaints has been with his support/office staff.

Exception physician, pleasantly surprised!

Unless your problem is clearly visible and obvious on an MRI or xray, don't waste your time seeing Dr. Capulong. He will farm you out to other departments because he has no idea what is wrong with you. Nor does he listen well to his patients symptoms. Don't waste your time. Your time is precious. Find someone who will listen.

Dr Capulong and his assistant were absolutely fantastic. The time they spent addressing my concerns and answering my questions was infinite. Dr Capulong and I had a subsequent follow up appt and I was once again treated with respect, by this caring, professional and extremely approachable doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Capulong.

Doctor claims to use multi-disciplinery approaches, but seemed reluctant to discuss, choosing instead to encourage Meds. 3 month wait to discuss MRI in his office - was willing to talk about over the phone, but patient has no way to view the films to help him understand what the doctor is saying. Feel I have less direction now than before I had a consultation with him. Very likeable man, but just confused me about what I should expect in the future regarding my condition. Knowledge is great only if the doc can effectively pass it onto the patient .
