Dr. Edwin Arellano Diaz, MD

Would not use the Dr. He does not deserve the acknowledgment of Dr. is very rude to elderly patients. Refuses to help on complex issues, or if you have been seen by another physician. He says! How that happens I don’t know. He has the worst bedside manner, doesn’t listen, and did nothing to help my Dad on his visit to him. I am not sure if Arkansas Urology knows what kind of Gem they have working for them. But if you need complex, compassionate, and effective care. DO NOT go to him.

I've been a patient of Dr Diaz at the North Little Rock office for the past 2 ½ years. The level of care has been outstanding. His explanations are so easy to understand, since he uses language that is for the layman.

This doctor, and I use that term loosely, has no business practicing medicine. He is rude inpatient and condescending. I know a lot of people in this area who have needed urological services and have vehemently told the m NOT to let this doctor touch them. I could go on and on but I think I’ve made myself clear

Told me 10 mm stone fighting for 5 months wouldnt be causing any pain and his nurse got in a yelling match with me regarding paperwork. Never been so disrespected by supposed health care professionals.

I looked at the summary of my visit and it stated he discussed procedures and explained them. NOT! He told me nothing! I got someone at the clinic to send me a brochure and he did the procedure. It made my symptoms worse. Next visit he spent little time with me and said there is nothing else to try. Too bad. I don’t recommend

I'm not sure if it's the Dr. or the rest of the staff that's the bigger problem, but they are all certainly lacking. 1) I had stones in both kidneys that were way to large to pass, so I was scheduled for a lithotripsy. Just after they had given me meds to make me sleepy and were about the wheel me back to surgery, the dr. sticks his head in and says, were doing to right side today, right? I immediately start trying to talk, my husband and I were both confused. At no time was it every mentioned that I would be having 2 surgeries at separate times. I understood the reasoning after it was explained, but at no time was it ever mentioned prior to. 2) At my last check-up, I was sold on doing a micro-gen test that was supposed to give super insightful information on what is actually causing the UTI's and a way to treat them when they aren't caught by regular testing. Made me feel like it was going to be the answer to all of my chronic UTI's. On the day I had the test done, I was told… the results come back super fast. This was a Friday and I should hear something by Tuesday. I decided to give them a week and started calling on Friday. It took them another full week to finally tell me that my specimen had been lost. So I had to schedule another appointment. Oh AND nobody mentioned until I showed up for the appointment and told me to remove my clothing that I would have to be cathed. So now I've had the micro-gen done twice, it took 3 weeks to get the results the 2nd time and all they did was say I had a UTI and call in antibiotics. No kidding!!!! Took the antibiotic and still have a UTI. They have no interest in getting to the root of the problem and are notorious for never returning calls or relaying lab results. I would never recommend that clinic to anyone.

He wasn't very kind and said he would not do surgery over that another Dr, has done before almost two years ago. He saw me and then informed me he would not do my surgery to go back to the other Dr. I said no as I told you in your other office I did not want him touching me again. He still refused to do the surgery again because of his ratings. I ask why did you even have me to come in for a ultra sound and a scope if you knew you were not going to do it. He replied because i just wanted to see for myself if it was what I said. My heart was broken and still he refused to do it and again said to go back to Dr. Fuller. He finally said he would find me another Dr. because I was very upset and didn't want to go back to a Dr. that had not fixed my bladder it fell 3mos. after my surgery. I told him and i have not attempted or said I would sue. No reason he should have refused to do surgery on my bladder.:(

Very disappointed with Dr. Diaz. Rude, disrespectful, lack of compassion, and treats you like a number. Doesn't take time to listen, and rushes to the next patient before taking time to care for you. If you have concerns or questions, he doesn't care. Would never go to him or refer anyone else to him. He has no business being in the medical profession if he can't treat patients with some respect.

Rude!!! Most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. Don't dare ask questions or you will be yelled at. Did nothing to help me. Repeated several tests that were contaminated at my expense. Never explained the results of tests and was told if I had any questions I could call another doctor.

He never engages with patients or explains anything without probing him to do so. He doesn't investigate issues before making decisions. Would never recommend him to anyone.
