Dr edillon has been doing surgery for years he's operated my grandfather my mom and me we have never had a problem he is a great doctor I don't believe what other people put about him n his staff I've been dealing with him for about 15 years n he actually saved my grandpa who had a gangrene gallbladder if u want a great surgeon this is the one never had I had a problem but stay away from doctor carter now that's a butcher

I was referred the this Dr through my HMO and medical group to have 2 masses removed. One thought to be benign and one unknown. - He looked very rumpled and like he had not shaved in a few days. He was also missing a few teeth and had very rough hands. Besides not being impressed with his office, staff, or his appearance we were extremly annoyed when he wanted to steer the conversation towards excess skin removal (I had gastric bypass a year ago and have lost 150 lbs) he just kept going on about how he "does a lot of that work" even after we told him I was at least a year away from any of those types of surgery... His staff was very rude- I talked to the Dr about some medical anxiety I was having stemming from complications after my gastric bypass that were being brought to the surface by all the medical things I was going through with the masses. He decided to write me a Rx for 15 anti anxiety pills but forgot to give it to me so on the way out I asked the nurse/receptionist… about it and she went on and on about how he does not do that, how he not writes for a few pills at pre-op and so on. She made me feel like a drug addict before she even asked the Dr if he had done it and when she found out he had she made sure to say loudly when she gave me the Rx- This is a one time thing only! I was not asking for Crack for God's sake! Day of surgery he was an hour late and not like he was in another surgery late more like everyone was getting all pissy where the heck is the Dr late... Because of his lateness I feel we were pushed through like assembly line products. I did not see I'm before or after surgery and when he spoke to my husband he once again tried to dominate the conversation with skin removal surgery but could not make time to tell him that my neck incision was going to be shockingly different than what he told us it would be like.... He said it would be a simpl little line that would be sealed with skin glue and heal unnoticed into the natural lines of my neck (my husband had spinal surgery trou his neck a few years ago and right after surgery his incision looked like it had been drawn n with a felt tip pen) well when we went to change my bandage we were confronted with an incision at least twice as big as promised that was being held together with a network of removable stitches. The incision is not even close to being closed or straight. I will most likely have to have a scar revision surgery. He is horrible and I only went there because I felt I had o other choice because I wanted the masses out ASAP but I expected a skilled and qualified surgeon and I got way less.-- Don't go here!!

I was admitted to the hospital for sever stomach pains. It took 22 HOURS before Dr. Edillon came in to explain the results of my tests and his plan of action! He only showed up after my wife told the nurses "if he's not here in 2 hours my husband is going to leave"!
