I was told to arrive 5-10 minuted early for an 8 AM, Saturday morning new patient appointment. I was assured by the scheduler that "someone would be there by 7:45. The staff was five minutes late that morning, arriving at 8:05. The MD went out to shovel snow while the receptionist was getting set up for the morning. I was taken back to be seen at 8:20. A thorough history was taken. A cursory physical exam was performed. Prescriptions for new medication were written. The status of refills for meds I was currently on was not addressed. I feel a diagnosis related to medication side effects was missed. Suggestions of trendy diagnoses were made addressing the presenting symptoms; diagnoses that if either were accurate, should have been made during my previous medical care. The office staff, the first line of contact representing the practice, was curt and not very friendly. Further contact with the staff demonstrated that this attitude is the norm, not the exception. This office… has minimally adopted EMRs. I was sent a packet of new patient paperwork to complete prior to the first visit. It arrived in an envelope that was torn open because it was overstuffed. It should have been my first clue that this practice was not a good fit. I would not recommend this practice.

Spends a great deal of time with the patient and I don't feel rushed. Highly recommend
