Dr. Ishoo has a great demeanor and was very knowledgeable, explaining the causes and his treatment for all my hormonal acne. After eight weeks of the intensive acne treatments, I’ve noticed the red, cystic acne on my face completely cleared. Don't believe the fake positive reviews. This "doctor", whose specialty is not even dermatology, permanently damaged my face. He also has a history of violent and criminal behavior. Do your research and stay far away, like I should have before becoming a "patient" of this man.

Dr Ishoo was AMAZING at what he did to improve my my acne scars. I’ve been traveling just to see him for over two years now and I've seen so much improvement in my skin and my scars after having nearly given up as nothing had really worked before. He always knows how to correct the problem. Very thorough with explaining in simple terms how he approaches each scar to reduce the factors that make it more noticeable so that it makes complete sense. Its not as easy as just using a LASER or repeated microneedling like several other places tried before with no improvement. Since the improvements in my skin, I have been coming back to Boston Acne Specialists and Dr Ishoo for Botox, fillers and chemical peels with my best friend and my mother. The feeling I get after his treatments is happy and hopeful. I have never trusted someone so much with my skin! Definitely a client for life!

10 year acne journey has finally come to an end thanks to Dr. Ishoo and his team. His philosophy is right in line with everything I was looking for. I was tired of being told by dermatologists that Accutane for a THIRD time was the only solution or a new oral/topical medication every two months was a secondary solution to a chronic issue. I have dealt with hormonal, cystic and superficial acne even through adulthood and I can finally say I have CLEAR skin. The occasional pimple will appear typically small and surface, now that I know how to treat and what products to use its immediate results.
