Dr. Edwin William Maldonado, MD

Started to see Dr, Edwin Maldonado in 2017, than again in 2024 as previously there were no issues. But now it has become the worst medical office personnel I have ever seen. No complaints about the doctor or his care but the office employees are completely incompetent and basically think you are dirt. Let me elaborate, on my last visit the Doctor himself renewed my prescriptions(3) of which 2 were filled the same day, however the pharmacy did not receive the 3rd one that was for my pain. Called the dr’s office and was told they did send it but would resend anyway. Two days later, the pharmacy still has not received it(spoke directly to Pharmacist looking at his computer screen. Called the dr’s office at this time every day for exactly one week, also text their text line every day as well with a full explanation of the problem. NOT A SINGEL RESPONSE OR ACKNOWLEDGMENT AT ALL FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK. At this time I text them and asked if I would have to buy some drugs on the street to end my… pain, yes sarcasm but I was at my wits end. Low and behold a text came back that the prescription had been resent. This was confirmed also by my pharmacist. Ok so after one week and a threat, problem solved, or one would think. Two days before my next appointment I received a call form his office stating that They requested another 3 referrals from my primary and had no response. Called my primary and was told that they obtained from insurance company and already fax it to Dr. Maldonado’s office. I ask them the resend and also email me a copy, which they did. At my appointment they told me they didn’t have it. I showed them the email on my phone and asked him to type in his email to send it. 10 minutes waiting I ask is everything ok. Was told they didn’t get it. Repeat, he again typed in the email and sent it. 15min waiting I asked again. Nope, was told that their answering services must have deleted it, WHAT? I became irate(my bad) especially after “1st problem”. At this time office kept telling me nothing they can do, asked me to leave. I asked to have the doctor call me directly. Told the doctor doesn’t call patients. Half hr later told referral received. Next morning a phone call from their office, told they are discharging me as they don’t need my disposition, as if they didn’t do a thing wrong to escalate the situation. For me, thank God. If you value professionals taking care of you, please, look elsewhere

Dr.Maldonado listened to me. Very Thankful.The staff is very Efficient and Polite.

He didn't care about my pain. Was always late, not even once he apologized for it.He doesn't have staff. If you want to get better don't even think to go see this male.He CAN'T be called Dr. if he doesn't care about the patients..

He doesn't care about the patient, he sees them as $$$ . I won't go to this provider ever again.

Dr. Maldonado treated me back in 2010, his bedside manner is warm and genuine. He treated me for back pain and after the treatment my life became normal again. I was able to go dancing and enjoying life as if there was never an injury.

The doctor is caring, knowledgeable, and has a wonderful bedside manner. He listens to you. He does not rush his time and he is always available when you need him I recommend Dr. Maldonado highly for anyone who needs pain management treatment. He is by far one of the most gifted young doctors I have had access to, and I worked in a hospital for many years. I trust him explicitly and without trust there is no doctor patient relationship.

absolutely the best -- caring , knowledgeable , sensitive to the issue of true Pain. The injections , treatments that I use have made a difference in my quality of life. Thanks Dr. Maldonado.

Very knowledgeable, friendly, listens well. After a couple of injections feeling significantly improved. Would definitely recommend to anyone with chronic pain!!!
